IPTV Reseller Credits Explained
A reseller credit is one month of one customer subscription. A 1-month subscription uses 1 credit, 3 months uses 3, 6 months uses 6 and 12 months uses 12. You buy credits up front as a package, unused credits never expire, and your cost per credit depends only on which package you bought.
What a credit represents
Credits are the internal currency of a reseller panel. Instead of paying per customer invoice, you hold a prepaid balance and draw it down whenever you activate a subscription. One credit corresponds to one month of subscription for one customer, which makes the arithmetic predictable: subscription length in months equals credits spent.
The four confirmed duration rules
| Subscription duration | Credits used |
|---|---|
| 1 month | 1 credit |
| 3 months | 3 credits |
| 6 months | 6 credits |
| 12 months | 12 credits |
Non-expiring balance versus subscription duration
These two ideas are easy to mix up, so keep them separate:
- Your credit balance has no expiry. Credits you haven't spent stay available for future activations.
- An activated subscription has the duration you selected. A 6-month subscription runs for six months from activation, regardless of how many credits remain in your balance.
In practice this means a bigger package is not a risk of waste — it's simply a lower unit cost on credits you will use eventually.
Unit pricing across the packages
Unit price is simply the package price divided by the credit quantity.
| Package | Credits | Package price | Cost per credit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | 120 | $300 | $2.50 |
| Growth | 240 | $500 | $2.08 |
| Scale | 360 | $700 | $1.94 |
| Business | 600 | $1,150 | $1.92 |
| Pro | 1,200 | $2,250 | $1.88 |
Enterprise volumes above 1,200 credits are agreed individually, so no unit price is published for them.
Worked example: one duration only
Suppose you buy Starter — 120 credits for $300, a unit cost of $2.50 per credit — and sell only annual subscriptions.
- Each 12-month subscription uses 12 credits.
- 120 ÷ 12 = 10 subscriptions.
- Allocated credit cost: 120 × $2.50 = $300.00 — the whole package.
Worked example: mixed durations
Now suppose you buy Growth — 240 credits for $500, or $2.08 per credit — and activate a mix.
| Subscriptions | Credits each | Credits used |
|---|---|---|
| 10 × 1 month | 1 | 10 |
| 10 × 3 months | 3 | 30 |
| 5 × 6 months | 6 | 30 |
| 5 × 12 months | 12 | 60 |
| Total | — | 130 |
That allocation requires 130 credits, leaving 110 credits from the 240-credit package. The credit cost of the allocation is 130 × $2.08 = $270.83. The remaining 110 credits stay in your balance for later.
If your plan needs more credits than the package holds, you'll see a shortfall instead of a remainder — that's the signal to compare a larger package rather than to over-promise to customers.
Using the calculator
The credit calculator on the pricing page takes a package plus the number of 1, 3, 6 and 12-month subscriptions you expect, and returns the credits required, credits remaining or the shortfall, and the estimated credit cost of that allocation. It estimates the credit cost of an allocation inside a prepaid package; it is not a separate checkout price, and it does not estimate your retail revenue or profit.
